Scott Simmons
President
Scott is a mission-driven, proven leader with two decades of progressive leadership experience in human capital consulting and executive development for award-winning global organizations. He has a track record of elevating financial performance, driving innovation, and expanding market reach, and is recognized for his ability to optimize operations, build high-performing teams, and foster strong, values-driven cultures.
Before co-founding Bench Partners, Scott founded MSS Advisory and served as CEO of the Boston, MA–based Ariel Group where he led the company's strategic direction, market expansion, M&A, and overall growth. Earlier, he was Chief Commercial Officer at Mind Gym, plc (New York, NY / London, UK), overseeing global revenue strategy, business development, and client solutions. Scott also spent over a decade at The Gallup Organization as a Managing Partner, driving strategic initiatives across multiple industries and helping Fortune 500 clients strengthen their leadership, talent, and human capital strategies.
Scott brings deep expertise in human capital strategy, culture transformation, talent development, and learning theory, along with extensive experience in custom content design and international growth. Throughout his career he has built and led diverse teams across sales, global account management, finance, operations, marketing, and product development. His ability to align business objectives with people strategy has produced measurable results across many industries.
Leah Shabouk
CEO
Before co-founding Bench Partners, Leah served as Chief Financial Officer of the Boston, MA–based Ariel Group, where she played a key role in the company's success. For over seven years she worked alongside the CEO to drive growth, overseeing Finance, HR, and Operations with a strategic, results-driven approach. She has deep experience across all facets of accounting, M&A, PE reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, audit, and compliance.
Earlier in her career, Leah worked at Interaction Associates in many capacities, including Controller, Accounting Manager, and Financial Analyst. Her career has spanned more than twenty years across many industries. She also volunteered as Treasurer on the board of a non-profit daycare and later served as their Director of Finance and Operations.
